The
subject is Ayrton Senna at the wheel of the McLaren
on the way to victory at Monaco in 1993.
This was Ayrtons sixth Monaco win and this victory
broke Graham Hills record five wins. This incredible
achievement made Senna well and truly the Monaco
Champion.
Ayrton Senna approved this picture in Adelaide in 1993;
unfortunately the only copy signed was to his hero and
mentor Juan Manuel Fangio. This copy now hangs in Fangios
museum in Balcarce in Argentina.
There is little to say about the tragic loss
at Imola on May 1st 1994.
The wound in the hearts of true Senna fans around the
world will never heal. The memories of his brilliance
will always produce a smile.
In our opinion, Ayrton was the greatest racing driver
of all time.
