The Moss 250 SWB Chronograph celebrates the 50th Anniversary of the very last finish and victory for Stirling Moss at the legendary Goodwood Motor Circuit.
At the wheel of the fabulous Rob Walker entered Ferrari 250 SWB, Stirling Moss completed the 109 laps in first position to take victory of the prestigious and grueling RAC Tourist Trophy on August 19th 1961.
This was to be Stirling's last ever finish and victory at Goodwood.
A world wide edition of just 250 Chronographs will be created and each dial will be hand signed by Stirling Moss.
Each watch is individually numbered and is engraved to the rear with the date
and race finish details. Each watch will arrive in a superb presentation display box which is
also signed and numbered by Sir Stirling Moss (subject to availability). Finished in polished German stainless
steel each watch comes with 3 Austrian high quality leather straps complete with strap
change tool. The movement is the renowned Swiss Valjoux ETA 7750 Chronograph
movement with a quick change calendar water resistant to 5 atm. The face glass is Italian
Sapphire.
‘Enclosed to the rear of each watch is an actual section of Stirling Moss’ last ever racing suit worn at the Le Mans 24hr in 2011.
The section of race suit was worn by Stirling when he announced his retirement from racing at Le Mans.
